A gentle nod to a lost loved one

‘If I could catapult my heart to where you are’, words by J. Savoretti

The phrase ‘If I could catapult my heart to where you are‘ is from a beautiful song by Jack Savoretti.

I had been searching for the right words to fit this tombstone-esque slate and happened to be pondering the question when this song came up on my iPod.  The gouge down the centre already existed in this riven slate and had been giving me trouble with some other ideas but somehow, in conjunction with these words, it enhances that sense of longing, the divide that exists when we lose someone, yet in our hearts always.
